Every “body” has rhythm! BODY PERCUSSION WORKSHOP SERIES with Andrea Guyon

Body percussion is found in every culture. This raw, unplugged, connection with sound, silence and movement is a fun way to engage with other people and our surroundings. Using stepping, snapping, clapping and vocalizing we will explore how common rhythm can connect us in unexpected ways.

INSTRUCTOR Andrea Guyon has been an avid percussionist since childhood and has studied with Keith Terry of Crosspulse at the World Rhythm Festival and International Body Rhythm Festival. She has taught workshops and choreographed performances for various groups and organizations including the inauguration ceremony of Victoria’s Ecole Victor Brodeur.
