Selo Gunay and his Mysterious Egyptian Drummer Friend play Turkish Music ... very exotic!!! Friday, March 16th 2012 8 to 10pm
Selo Gunay sings Turkish music in a rich baritone, accompanying himself on the saz, a traditional Turkish stringed instrument. He will be joined by his mysterious Egyptian drummer friend. Feeding the saz through effects pedals lends a psychedelic edge to what I’m sure will be a night to remember. “Rock the bookshop, Rock the Bookshop” (apologies to the Clash). hosted by Winnie Cooper
